Don't Just Guess works the way you expect if you have ever played Wordle: a hidden word is chosen, you get six tries to find it, and after every guess the tiles show you how close you are. The difference is what happens when the round ends - here you simply press Play again and a new word is waiting. No midnight countdown, no "come back tomorrow".

Yes. Unlimited mode deals a brand-new hidden word the moment a round ends - press Play again (or just hit Enter) and keep going. There is no daily cap, no cooldown and no account. If you came here searching for a way to play more than one puzzle a day, this is it.
Is Don't Just Guess free?
Completely free. No sign-up, no download, no subscription. It runs in your browser on phone, tablet and desktop, and even works offline after your first visit. The site is supported by a small amount of advertising.
How is this different from the daily Wordle?
The classic daily game gives everyone one shared puzzle per day. Don't Just Guess offers that too - a Daily mode with streak tracking - plus an Unlimited mode with endless fresh words, and board sizes from 3 to 7 letters. Can I change the word length?
Yes. Besides this classic 5-letter board you can play 3-letter (easiest, great for kids), 4-letter, 6-letter and 7-letter modes, each with its own curated answer list.
Is there a hard mode?
Yes. Hard mode (in Settings) enforces that every revealed clue must be used in your following guesses - the classic hard-mode rules explained in our rules guide. It is there to reward deduction over lucky guessing.
Are my statistics saved?
Yes - games played, win rate, current and best streaks, and your full guess distribution are stored in your browser on your device. Nothing is uploaded and no account is needed. Clearing the site's browsing data erases them.
